Mega Inc. was established in 1985 by Rocky Marco of Ocheyedan, Iowa. Rocky bought out Larry Leckband and started surveying and eventually purchased equipment. Some of the first jobs done by Mega Inc. were putting in mains (90,000 - 140,000 ft). Numerous tiling jobs were completed as well as other services. In 1997 Mega Inc. cleaned out a massive tornado- damaged acreage on the Van Deepens farm. Later an 8 acre dam was completed on that acreage in 2003. In 2002, Mega Inc. built sewer, water, basements, moved dirt on a 41/2 acre condo property near the Iowa Great Lakes.
